Finally got rolled over, but price increased

I thought there was a price protection from 23 to 24. Unless it's a rebate.

There is a “private offer” that will be calculated and communicated to you sometime in August to offset the price increase. This should go to the dealer who will offset the price accordingly but sometimes it will end up going to you in the form of a rebate check instead.

There is a special offer from Ford for rollover orders. Your 23 and 24 order numbers must be identical in order for this to take place. If they are not, contact your dealer immediately and have the new order # changed to the same as last year's. That will flag it in the system and Ford will give you a special offer to compensate for the pricing increase. Your dealer must also not cancel the old order. Ford will do that.

Yes. It is the same order number as the one I placed in 2022.

I checked the email from Ford again. It said they will provide an incentive through the dealer so I guess when it is time to buy they will have the discount.
