Congratulations on your new truck. BTW: To me it appears that the 8.5" screen is so dark that I could hardly even tell if it was turned on. Is it that dim in real life in bright conditions [such as sunlight through the windshield]? Does it appear any brighter in person???Technically slightly overloaded, due to weight of driver as well, courtesy of BlakesCars2:

Just for clarification, I put "courtesy of BlakesCars2" because this isn't my vehicle. Thanks for the video.
Honestly, there appears to be quite a bit of squat on this.
p.s. My payload sticker on my 2015 F150 XLT 302A is 2049#. I've had it loaded with a pallet of pellet's (2000#) and it did not squat anywhere like this. I've also had it full to the brim with firewood (many times).
Having said this, I'm not buying the Maverick for its payload/hauling, but it is good to see what it looks like at the limits.
p.p.s. show the door jam values, please.
We've all seen the payload stickers on this forum sir. Real world owner test is the acid test. Looks legit. Not very helpful. A full 5+ minutes and never once do we see the door jam actual payload value.
So you doubted it was 1500#?We've all seen the payload stickers on this forum sir. Real world owner test is the acid test. Looks legit.
No, I could look at the sticker for five minutes or see it done for five minutes. Either way, what's your beef?So you doubted it was 1500#?
Don't worry, that's just because the camera can't properly handle the range of brightness across the scene. In person the screen is far brighter and completely usable in broad daylight.Congratulations on your new truck. I think you're correct that he was slightly overweight because a FX4 isn't rated at 1500# and of course you have to add the driver's weight too. However, how many people actually put any thought into actual weight of the load plus driver/passenger weight?! When I had my '08 F-150 adding stone to the yard, it was never a consideration on payload, it was one scoop of stone into the bed, wheels rubbing? No, proceed on! Nice to see a real life haul and how well Maverick handled it. I was impressed that he seemed to get up to speed rather quickly too.Technically slightly overloaded, due to weight of driver as well, courtesy of BlakesCars2:

No that is not how bed load capacity is calculated. In rough terms a Maverick weighs about 3700lbs. So you figure 2 adults add maybe 400lbs, now you're at 4100lbs. The combined vehicle weight on most Mavericks is about 6000lbs, so that leaves you 1900 to split between the bed and a trailer.
