I have 2 Bak4 roll up covers, I like them both but the older one has the issue where one of the felt strips on the underside has fallen off. The newer one doesn’t have the Ford logo decal (visible when the cover is rolled up) but I rarely ever drive with it in that configuration. I used my points to offset the cost so it was less expensive to get the Ford branded one.

You’ll get used to filling up less often, but if you’re like me you’ll get a little dopamine shot every fill up from the realization of how much money you’re saving on gas. Even when prices spike it just doesn’t hurt as much, because in that moment you realize it’ll be a while before you have to refuel.
I feel you, but the reality is I'm driving a new car here, Chief. It's an expense. I 'aint savin' jack $hit. However, the MPG results certainly bode well to start spending less on transportation costs down the road. It's also nice to have a more predictable expense with the warranty.

One place I'm still getting "a little dopamine shot" from saving is driving around expensive tolls. Can be done in any car, but the Maverick Hybrid was built for it. Can be $10-$20+ a trip saved.

Fuel isn’t a nice gesture by the Dealership, you paid for it. On my 2023, the “fuel charge” on my factory invoice was $52.65

.
Yep you are paying for the fuel no matter what as it's on the real invoice to the dealer. So the dealer should be giving you a full tank.

I remember driving my brand new 1994 VW Jetta GLS off the dealer lot with the low fuel led illuminated on the fuel gauge. Of course it was my first new car purchase ever and I thought, hmmm, I didn't think it would go down like this...LOL Yep, 1st stop was to fill it up.

Logged my first trip (to home from the dealership). Bowen-Scarff Ford even gave me a full tank of gas. I got stuck in traffic. But it's ok this time while I get used to my new truck.

I had one show up as being 104 mpg one day. I just figured that it was some sort of error. I did drive up north about 250 miles and averaged 42 mpg. It’s really something how much the weather impacts the gas mileage. During the winter I was averaging right around 30mpg on fill ups since June I am averaging 41 at fill ups

She's a beauty! If you're anyone like me, you'll find any mundane reason to drive your Maverick. "What?" "We're out of pens?" "I'm on it"!

Nice ride!
Not to dis your dealer but filling the tank is part of what Ford pays the dealer for when prepping.
My dealer charged me $40 for gas, but because I used the X plan, and was only charged $100 for pre delivery charge, I didn't complain.
