I am thinking of getting one of these. How does the bed look after you remove it down the line? Does it get scraped up by dust and debris that makes it through the liner? Asking for my wife

I haven’t removed it. I installed it to prevent my bed from getting scratched even more than it already had. It is installed with Velcro so it is easy to pull up and spray down. I did install it around the tie downs, light and cubby so it would be a lot of work to remove.

Thanks, I can't imagine I would ever need to remove it either. I could see throwing a rubber mat over top at some point, if I had to carry rocks or anything. Appreciate it!

I installed mine today, ran into a bit of trouble at the 120 volt outlet/light assembly. The housing sits at the floor of the bed, and the end of the zipper is at that corner and it was quite a battle to get the housing screwed back into place. I am curious if anyone else experienced this or if I am doing something wrong?

Glad it wasn't just me!
Ran into another problem, put my hard roll up cover on, and discovered the tailgate would not close. I wrongly assumed the cover would overlap the tailgate so I attached the bedrug to the top of the tailgate. Wrong! The tailgate closes against the end of the cover and the additional width of the bedrug was too much. I had to move the bedrug lower on the tailgate to get it under the cover, leaving the velcro exposed and not securing the bedrug well. I peeled the velcro off but much of the adhesive stayed behind and that stuff is hard to remove! Goo gone and a plastic scraper has removed some of it, but if anyone has and ideas let me know. Morale of the story is if you have any plans on adding a hard cover attach the velcro strip below the tailgate cap, not on it!

That bit was quite awkward to work with. It would be better if BedRug used 2 zippers starting at both back corners, so that the bulky zipper pulls would be up front, where there is more room for them.

My wife and I got ours installed this weekend. Thanks to some helpful videos on YouTube it wasn't too bad, except we struggled with the cubby bolts. Over all, I think it looks great! And RealTruck (vendor) was great to deal with!
