I did the same thing in my Vette......Chevette 1983 or so I believe.... 0-60 mph in like 10 minutes top speed 85mph
That was defiantly designed in the era of bean counter CEOs. Not that engineers can't design garbage also but for them to wind up at an auto manufacture they probably had some interest in cars and trucks.

There must be an awful lot of lemons coming out of Ford, for lemon law lawsuits to be so profitable for those dirty California attorneys. If Ford is losing that much money due to quality issues, wouldn’t it be cheaper to fix the issues than to keep paying out compensation to corrupt attorneys?
Has anyone looked at numbers of lemons coming out of each auto manufacturer to see if there’s any difference between car makers?

Hmmmm? Never built tank but did have howitzers mounted on their trucks .

I purchased a 2026 Ford Maverick XL 2.0 turbo on May 15th, 2026. On June 9th it went into the shop for the first time. It was in and out until June 29th when went in and NEVER came back out. Electrical issues. Ford has agreed to BUYBACK but gave me the middle finger when dealing with the stress, inconvenience and anger that I went through. Needless to say, I am DONE with FORD after 40 years of owning a Ford truck. This will be my last post on this site!!
