I guess the definition of "lemon law" is different than I understand or maybe different in other states. This is the second recent account of what really sounds to be an inept and unprofessional dealer. Major bummer and sucks that you've been without your new truck for 3 months and with no information. I'd be pursuing any avenue I could too.

Pure speculation, but with a non-premium vehicle like the Maverick, I could see some dealerships, and maybe even some Ford employees, offering non-premium service to match. I'm not saying that's the case here, but I've seen it happen.

Whys that? It's what the owners manual says.
A flashing CEL just means the PCM is detecting the engine actively misfiring. Whereas there's plenty of conditions indicated by a solid CEL which could cause damage to the engine or other components if ignored.

Cite the section the the manual says to drive with a check engine light on if repairs are not available. Spoiler it's not there....

This is a great way to go from issue covered by warranty (or lemon law) to "you're on your own".

Again, horrible advice. Please no one listen to "just drive it with the light on its fine as long as it's not flashing".

Jeez…what is it with the hybrid models and all of these problems? I specifically ordered my truck with the turbo gas engine because I want it more power and was willing to compromise the fuel economy. I got lucky…zero problems since delivery last summer…
Zero problems with Maverick Hybrid.

For the OP, were recalls completed before your problem started?
