please help me understand why is this drivable if exhaust heat exchanger malfunctioning? It is either open or closed position. Seems to me ONE of those positions will superheat your battery when it’s not supposed to. Am I wrong?

Seems like a terrible dealer. Exhaust and muffler problem is drivable until parts come in. Been waiting since Feb. myself. Giving up a truck you say you love seems odd. I get you've been out a truck for 2 months but only because of a dumbass dealership.

Our Maverick pickup truck got repaired today!!
We'd been waiting for parts since February, and it had been out of inspection since the end of March. And because it took them three days to do the repair, after saying it would take one day, they gave us a free oil change. Best of all, it's now inspected through July of 2024!

AND! Our gas mileage post repair went up! Whoo hoo!! Just driving local roads it was up to 47mpg, from around 42.

So now we're down to just two recalls: the battery cable issue and the under hood fire issue.

(Every now and then we stop and remind ourselves that we got a '22 at MSRP and 1.34% financing.)
