So how did I have 400 miles to empty now getting 313 miles to empty it's not consistent miles from full to empty
I believe that may have to do with the gas nozzles and/or the when the dispenser clicks off...Basically you're able to pump a little more gas in your tank from Marathon. So it's probably juys mechanics....

Has anybody found a popular gas station such as Walmart that you actually get the amount of gas the Maverick can hold Walmart has me at full at 313 miles to empty i have had Marathon give me 400 miles to empty but Marathon Gas stations isn't that popular
It has to do with the octane rating of the fuel as well as the amount of ethanol that is in it. If you get lower mileage, probably using the unrecommended octane rating of 87. Higher mileage is probably 89 0r 91 octane. I use 91 octane non-ethanol fuel in my EB Mav which gives me between 27 and 30 mpg, on the dash estimator, and I try to never run ethanol because it can seriously cause Turbo failure in this tiny turbo.

Asking since Marathon gives me 400 miles from full to empty and Walmart gives me 313 from full to empty what place would you most likely find that would also give 400 from full to empty ie shell,bp, etc
You're most likely filling when your average MPG is high at Marathon. Going from one brand to another should not change MPG if the same octane is used.

I fill up at Costco on top of the mountain. Sometimes I get 600 miles to E.

Hows does my Maverick determine the amount of ethanol in the fuel system?

I'm in California where I can't buy non-ethanol fuel. How long do you think I can go before turbo failure?

Question. Here in Indiana for every lawn mower and trimmer and other small engines that I have seen the manufacturer recommends using non-ethanol fuel and here in Indiana many, maybe most gas stations provide non-ethanol fuel since when small engines like that sit, the Ethanol residue can gum things up quicker. More expensive, but for me a five gallon container is good for several months of mowings so that is what I get. But not available in California?

Yep, my wife is a long-time company member (27 years now) at OSF. Coos Bay rocks!
My mom grew up in Coos Bay. My dad, from Pennsylvania, met her there while serving there as part of the Army Coastal Guard because of Japanese subs coming close, and them floating bombs on balloons to the coast, after being in both Africa and Europe in WW2. After marrying the moved to Pennsylvania and moved back to Coos bay when I was 1.5 in 1950. Lived there until 1979. Gotta admit, I miss the coast and lakes, and the fishing and crabbing and digging clams and ...

No non-ethanol gas in California other than very expensive and limited availability racing fuel.

Also, beginning this year, you can not purchase any new gas powered lawn equipment in California so eventually it wont matter if the manufactures say to use non-ethanol gas.

Apparently your were going all uphill with the Walmart gas and the down hill return trip with the Marathon gas.

CA is crazy, but only just recently are there a FEW stations around here in SC that also offer non-ethanol for more money.
