A Blackwood Maverick would remind me of...

My buddy's parents had one of those, might even still have it. They are LOADED and back around 2014 or 2015 bought an Aston Martin for "the English Cottage" and the dealer offered them a Cygnet for a very low price, less than $10,000. The dealership probably wanted to get it off the lot but buddy's parents actually liked it, it was a good car for city driving in England and they never had to worry about door dings.

I would buy a Platinum Maverick. I moved from an XLT to a Lariat and even though the Lariat was better, I would have been happy to get a few more convenience accessories. Front parking sensors would be nice, and cooled seats are also useful.
I would also like something that has a little more paint on the body and maybe softer surfaces inside.
I don't get all hung up on the price - the whole thing about it is the size of the vehicle.

I have good and bad news for you.

all vehicles have shit paint now. it's environmentally friendly. bronco raptor, Ford GT, Maverick all will get stone chips on the front end very easily.

but the good news is that ppf works, and you can put it on the Maverick you already own. nearly every high end luxury vehicle (150k+) is going to get delivered with full coverage ppf when first purchased.

Please don't chase me from the forum, but It sure would be sweet if Lincoln and Ford would get together and make a Lincoln version of the Maverick like they did years ago this the Ford Ranger and the Lincoln Blackwood. In MHO the current Ranger is getting too big cause of the Bronco platform. I like my baby truck!

The New Ranger is like the my old 2008 f-150, I had a 2003 Ranger Edge model and loved it, but yes I love my 2023 xl ,like the old Ranger, but with 4 doors, Yeah.

OP, I can see where you'd think the Blackwood was based off the Ranger, but it was indeed based off the F150. The difference is the Blackwood and the Mark LT were just based off of different generations of F150: the Blackwood being the 10th gen (or the "Jellybean") and the Mark LT being the 11th gen. I can hear that 5.4 Triton exhaust manifold tick from a mile away...

I remember seeing this truck at the Ford dealer in Ada, Ohio. The tailgate was cafe door style. Maybe it was a customized Ranger. I am an old man. I don't know. lol
