I just tightened it, worry for a day, then forget about it till this very momentI guess you have far more mechanical experience than most people then, I wouldn't have a clue what 150 foot pounds feels like. It's either tight or it not.

There are probably long term problems for undertorquing aside from the possibility of losing a wheelI do it a little different. I loosen the lugs and tighten them by hand. Still crank on them but no where near the specs. That way I can remove them if I need to on the road to change a tire. Never had a problem with any of my vehicles doing this.
I remember reading an Ian Fleming novel and he is describing the hero trying to change a wheel and finding that the wheel nuts had been tightened by a mechanic with a 'spider and a grudge', back in the days before impact wrenches!Hold my beer whilst I jist give da 4 point wrench a coupla spins, Homer.
