It could happen. Mines a EB. I crack the filter and unscrew until it the oil starts running, it flows to the lowest point on the filter and straight down, although my FX4 is level when I change the oil.
Yep, can't use the rear hitch because I tow a 20' Lance travel trailer. The bed is full of wood. The trailer bumper is too weak. Don't care about the cost, just need something that will hold 125 lbs.
Hi Max, With the strut bar installed the round black thingy and the flex hose would rattle against the strut bar pulling my 19' Lance travel trailer. I had to also trim the engine cover around the black thingy. Your 2.0 badge is nice!

Hi, do you think it's possible to make the DIY power plugs hot from remote start or possibly trailer power hot? That way I could charge my trailer battery without going outside.
Mercury 2.0. I made the badge from 1/8 aluminum. The screw to hold it down was from leftover TV wall mount screws with a spacer I made to put under it.. The 2 ball mounts that were on the engine fit perfect. Thats all ya need tp hold it on. I got my cover on ebay from a Ford dealership
The materials were $77. I made the bar for fun but I also have a lathe. Yes it was worth it. The strut bar, Steeda rear sway bar, and Timbren rear springs with a 1/4" preload. The Mav really corners. 35mph corners @ 70, yahoo!
I didn't. What I do know is that pulling or pushing the rod front to back 1/4" causes the strut tower near the top to move inboard .0015. I don't know if thats per side as I can't set up 2 dial indicators at once. I don't have anyway to move the tower without the rod attached.
