One solid piece. They seem pretty high quality. Much better than the OEMsThese are not the two part lugs nuts that have swelling issues where the lug wrench no longer fits are they? I hate the cheap ones the OEM uses.

Gorillas are good, McGard is probably better. This is what Gorilla sent me yesterday, for a Maverick.

Maybe, after a year, you can convince McGard to update their application info, so people don't have to try and determine on their own what model # to use?Gorillas are good, McGard is probably better.
Annoying, isn't it? I had to put in a 2021 Ford Edge, which uses the same 14 x 1.5 thread, cone seat, popular Ford-style acorn bulge style lug nuts.Maybe, after a year, you can convince McGard to update their application info, so people don't have to try and determine on their own what model # to use? -- HRG
My wife got a flat on her '19 Edge this week, usually I pull the tire and take it in for repair. 3 different impact wrenches later, only 1 of 5 lugs broke loose. Tires rotated every 5K at the local Ford dealer.Annoying, isn't it? I had to put in a 2021 Ford Edge, which uses the same 14 x 1.5 thread, cone seat, popular Ford-style acorn bulge style lug nuts.
The 148 lb torque spec is also anti-theft by itself, weak thieves need not try.
This us exactly why I will torque mine to 100# and leave it at that. As long as the torque is equal on a lugs I have never seen an issueMy wife got a flat on her '19 Edge this week, usually I pull the tire and take it in for repair. 3 different impact wrenches later, only 1 of 5 lugs broke loose. It is 148ft/lbs because it has a 14mm stud, the 12mm studs top out at 100, the old 10mm stud tops at 80, I look these specs up every day Monday through Friday, at least 30 times a day, I provide parts services Ford my local Ford QuicklaneYou better check that torque spec.its way to high.should be around 75-80 ft lbs
As for the lug wrench carried behind the back seat in the "kit", with me in case of a flat that a fix-a-flat spray-goo can won't cure, I think I'll pack my old Husky 24231 17"-long 1/2"-drive breaker bar back there, along with a special "Titan Products 21094 1/2in Drive 22mm Non-Marring Lug Nut Socket".I'd really hoped the Maverick didn't include these stupid lugs. It was a constant job removing swollen lug nuts with either a 19.5/21.5 or a chisel to do a simple tire rotation...
Also, something to think about; I'd stick with whichever lug socket dimension is factory. It should be 21mm/13/16 if they're the same as Edge lugs. That's the size your spare lug wrench will be.
You're right. I'm switching from McGard locks to Gorilla locks.Mcgard lug nuts are good quality. I had some on my Escape. With that being said, I found the Gorilla Lock nuts superior to the Mcgard lock nuts in the design. I had Mcgard lock nuts actually get broken by some idiot mechanics that got too happy with thier impact wrench. The raised puzzle design on the key itself was broken off in sections by the torque. The way the Gorilla key goes over the lug is a better design and the lugs themselves look more like an actual lug nut instead of the flattened design of the mcgards.
