I don't blame the big rigs for using them... too many selfish idiots on the road don't realise how inconsiderate and dangerous cutting them off, is!... imvfho....I see Semis running those all the time, and think WTF lol - they are far more intimidating for lower vehicles

Cheers
from personal experience, I can attest to the fact that spikes on a semi are NOT required to do damage to a vehicles doors when that vehicle "doesn't see" a tractor/set of doubles and merges into the front wheel of the tractor. bothe myself and a co-worker have had this happen (hers was similar damage to a BMW 8 series).I don't blame the big rigs for using them... too many selfish idiots on the road don't realise how inconsiderate and dangerous cutting them off, is!... imvfho....
"Wow" reaction because I'm amazed you're admitting to doing that.from personal experience, I can attest to the fact that spikes on a semi are NOT required to do damage to a vehicles doors when that vehicle "doesn't see" a tractor/set of doubles and merges into the front wheel of the tractor. bothe myself and a co-worker have had this happen (hers was similar damage to a BMW 8 series).

sounds like your reading comprehension is not all that it should be: the car merged into my front wheel: what exactly am I admitting to? traveling down the road in my own lane?"Wow" reaction because I'm amazed you're admitting to doing that.![]()

FYI, the ones you linked will NOT fit our Mavericks. Here is a M14 x 1.50 set. There are some very effective spike aka cone shaped wheel locks. The YouTube channel "Project Farmer" did a review of different wheel lock set and included this in the video. I will update this post later with a link to that video when I find it. Unless someone beats me to it.

These are actually on my list to get. I figured it'd be cooler to have those and to act as a deterrent of theft (who has that long of a deep socket on the regular?) Also then not having to fumble around for that one off key lug when needed.Am I the only one that finds this both ridiculous and yet oddly satisfying?

Is it really that simple to break lugnuts loose with a simple set of standard vice grips? There is very little leverage. I want to see it done with those torqued at 110 lbs. Here is that YouTube video review on Wheel Locks by Project Farmer.
AI made of? Im seeing more than 5 lug nutsAm I the only one that finds this both ridiculous and yet oddly satisfying?
