I lived in the mountains years ago before the hybrid Maverick existed. I know how to drive a regular auto or stick transmission in the mountains or anywhere else for that matter, but with the advanced tech of the eCVT, I was hoping for some 'what's the best mode to use' advice. Maybe I should have been more clear.

You can use Normal and apply the brakes or Eco mode and feather the gas or brake. Eco provides the most control going downhill. Move the seat up and work the throttle in Eco. Try both and see what you like.
