Thank you! Yes I cut the front bumpstops 20mm per the instructions. I am giving up on my Eibach's and ordering HR Springs tonight. Along with Scale adjustable end links. No matter what we try and we have tried everything, the eibach springs just have a popping noise that I can't live with. It don't make any sense that one manufacturer's spring creates a pop and another's don't. It has been documented numerous times on this forum alone. So I am switching.

Springs and end links ordered a few mins ago, should be here Friday. Not sure if he can get them on this weekend but as soon as he does I will definitely report back.

I have H&R super sport springs and have a slight knocking noise when turning sharp at low speeds. I’m going to take them apart again as soon as I get a chance and look at the top hats. I’ll report here if I find anything.

What drop you get with the H&R?
I got the Super Sport 2.2" front and 3" rear. I also got adjustable end links from Scale. I will try them first and see if they resolve the issue. If they don't I will put in the springs and I also ordered new strut mounts. I know it's overkill on a brand new truck but I used my FordPass points to pay for them, so better safe than sorry.

You Sir might be the only person I have seen post this about their HR Springs. And the last week or so I have read every thread over and over on lowering these trucks. I just ordered them so we will see.

I just installed my Eibach lower springs this pass weekend and haven't had any issues so far. Is there much of difference there is between the Ecoboost and Hybrid springs? This was the first time I've ever dropped a vehicle, I've owned a number of Jeeps in the past and they all went up not down!

I installed the 1.5 lift level from HRG on my hybrid. I too had a clunk noise similar to yours. I only wanted it for more clearance for 260/75/17 tires. I took it apart a few times and then dropped back to stock. (Also went to local tire guy)

I think about what it could have been very often…😂

Checking in another noisy one here, 22 XL FWD Ecoboost. Mine makes popping clunk noises when turning and also bumps at times. My first assumption was maybe the strut bearing were out of clock when installed, so I replaced both strut bearings, noise the exact same.

As far as I know the eibach springs are the same for the front, no matter whether you have FWD or AWD. It is only the rear springs that are different.

This is gonna sound weird and I hope I can explain it right so here goes. Mine makes the clunk/pop turning left and right when the truck is first started up, i.e. cold. Once it warms up I don't hear it that much. Now, on a bumpy pot hole filled road, it literally sounds like the springs are loose are jumping around under the perches. I know everything is still tight as we have torqued this thing many times since it was done almost 700 miles ago. On a smooth road, this thing rides like a dream. This leads me to think maybe the spring rate is all wrong to work with the stock strut. I am not a suspension expert, but it seems to me that eibach didn't do enough R&D when it comes to the Maverick in general. I have used their products for going on 30 years in multiple vehicles and have them now in our Mustangs with absolutely NO issues. Mine is going back under the knife to replace the springs with H&R Super Sports, new strut bearings and new end links. He will probably have it the first part of next week, but I will report back once I get it back for sure.

It just seems strange that some Mavericks are having the issue and others aren't. What you're saying about the spring rate does make sense, however, I would have thought if that was the case more people would be reporting the issue and Eibach would be doing more to solve the issue. Yet, what's being reported on MTC is only a small sample of what's out there.

I agree, it is strange some get the noise and some don't. I also find it very weird that most is with the eibach springs and not the HR. Some people just drive their vehicle, they don't join forums or post about this or that. Eibach has completely shit the bed with any form of help as far as I am concerned. I won't swear off the brand completely, but it will be a while before I trust in them again. I definitely won't buy a "new to the market" product from them again.

I guess that MTC is either too small of a form for Eibach to look at or they’re not aware of our forum, but they certainly should!

Wrong, their R&D Mgr is a member on here and drives one of these trucks. He has been MIA since I expressed my concerns. Oh well, he wasn't any help anyway.

Im another one that isnt happy with Eibachs springs. Ive gone thru 2 sets of bump stops because they keep splitting due to bottoming out the strut. I thought it was bad struts, but they arent bad. I am trying to wait for Bilstein to make a strut but i may go back to the stock springs in the meantime. I believe the spring rates are wrong as well.

He needs to get back on the forum and address all these issues people before all this word of mouth gets around!!
