Understand. My HR-V is at the dealer again for repaint and it gets 36-37 and I have a honda pilot loaner getting 26. But depreciation of the car is usually the bigger cost then fuel.
CEL means something needs attention. A blinking CEL means do not drive. It's safe to drive until you have the replacement part.
My thoughts on the buy back. Are they going to give you what you originally paid including taxes, and the cost of things you added on such as bed cover, floor mats, tinted windows etc. or what was dealer installed when you picked it up. I wonder if the dealer would even buy it as a lemon. Why not just take it in as a regular sale and keep the title clean. It's proably a hazy line, but once the customer has the dealer giving the sale price back, I'd think the dealer could handle the transaction as they see fit.
I think I remember your original posts about the problem. Were you the one who had an EGR leak that dumped coolant down the exhaust and set catalyst inefficiency codes? You said Hybrid. FX4 is Ecoboost. Like I said it will be shipped out of state when it's fixed. Where exactly I don't know.
