Is/will your Maverick be your first truck? Are you new to Ford?

I've seen so many articles on this subject just wondering how accurate they are.
For me my first truck was a Toyota back in 1978.
Have owned three Toyota's. First Ford truck was a used 1992 F-150 bought in 94. Had two more 150's a 98 and used 2014. Also a 2000 F-250, three F-350's and two dually F-350's. All the Super Duties we're diesel. Also had a couple of used Rangers.
First Ford was a new 67 fastback Mustang. 289 4 on the floor. I've lost track of all the Ford's I've owned.

First truck was a 97 Ranger, bought in 2005 and wrecked in 2006. Only owned 1 other vehicle in between my Maverick and Ranger.

Learned to drive on a 1955 Ford Truck. Owned a 2008 F150, before that three different Rangers, and my current ride is a 2008 Ranger. Bought a Tacoma in the 90s, back when they were still small, felt like it was made of tin compared to my Rangers, not a fan. Mav will be my final truck, final Ford. That 1955 was a buddy's, he called it Big Red. So, naturally, mine will be Lil Red.

Not my First Truck. That would be the 1998 Ford Ranger XLT SuperCab that I owned for 16+ years

Not new to Ford as we also had a 1994 Ford Taurus

Not to sound like a pessimist but what is there to compete with? Ford offered a vehicle that they can’t build, at a price they can’t adhere to. Should competitors be concerned with fallacies?

Not my first truck either, I live on a farm. The new Hybrid Maverick that arrived yesterday is the 7th Ford (and Mazda) truck we currently own. Two Mazdas, two F150s, two Mavericks and a 2003 F350 Dually V10 regular cab. The oldest Mazda was purchased new in 1999, has been rode hard and put away wet. The Mazda trucks will be replaced by the Mavericks, if the Mavericks work out. They are doing great so far!

My first Ford was a 1967 Mustang notchback with a 289 2 barrel automatic bought used in 1970.

Never have had a Toyota.

my first and i thought last truck was a 2000 ranger with how big trucks were getting but the maverick is exactly what i have wanted since that ranger.

This is my third Ford truck, fifth Ford vehicle and I come from a Ford only family. I drive an F250 daily for work so my Maverick is my grocery getter/weekender/travel vehicle and I love it!
