I think it is a dealer gouge since my understanding is that the spray in liner issue from the 22’s was resolved

Why were they advising you drop the spray in?

Ford has about 3100 dealerships in the US. If there is an average allocation of 16 units across all US dealerships, that is only 49,600 units they plan on producing for customer orders only. I can’t seem to find a total number (so far) of 22 Mavericks that were produced/delivered to compare with.

My initial order and my backup order both got Ford emails sent out

I am on the east coast…. I just placed a back up order with another dealer i found around here Holman Ford told me they were only allocated 24 units. A bit better than Chapman of Horsham… but I still feel like Ford isn’t calculating correctly.

The next thing everyone needs to worry about is dealer allocations! Many dealers may have submitted far more orders than what their allocation number will be

I had a similar experience with a dealership in the area. They wanted a $1,000 deposit non-refundable! I hung up the phone as soon as I heard that! I went with Chapman/Horsham with $0 deposit and 1% off invoice.

What about new 2023 orders that are not roll overs?
