2020 is when you could buy a hybrid Escape AWD. I own a 2020 Escape hybrid Titanium fwd. 30k+ miles averaging 41.5 mpg. Check Fully out for real word mpg.
I have a 2017 F-350 diesel truck and a 2020 Escape hybrid Titanium. So if my hybrid Maverick doesn't get built I'm okay.
If it does get built I'll decide if it a better fit than my Escape which is averaging 41.7 mpg
I got the same email a hour ago.
New 2023 order not a roll over.
My son just picked up his 2022 a year to the day he ordered it. He never got any emails from Ford.
My son just got his yesterday. One year to the day he ordered it. Built 9/1 never showed shipped as of three days ago.
Yes in the sun it's metallic blue. In the shade looks black.
You would think this should be a easy fix.
My 2020 Escape hybrid doesn't do it. Maverick hybrid is pretty much a Escape with a bed the software is already available.
The monthly built to sold numbers sure shows where the problem is SHIPPING!
My son's Lariat was built 9/1. Still hasn't been shipped yet. Dealer he bought from just got in a XLT that was built 6/29. It's for sale. I imagine the person that ordered it gave upped and moved on.
Well after 100 responses which not everyone was clear on both questions here is the total so far.
First truck 32 yes 54 no.
New to Ford 20 yes 60 no.
By what I've read (which we all know is true if on the internet) 80% of Mavericks sold are first time truck buyers. 65% of those are new to Ford.
I've seen so many articles on this subject just wondering how accurate they are.
For me my first truck was a Toyota back in 1978.
Have owned three Toyota's. First Ford truck was a used 1992 F-150 bought in 94. Had two more 150's a 98 and used 2014. Also a 2000 F-250, three F-350's and two dually...
Bought a used 2014 Fusion plug in hybrid in 2017. Traded it for a new Escape hybrid Titanium in 2020. For the 30k miles I have on it I'm averaging 41.7 mpg. Hybrid Maverick is just a hybrid Escape with a bed 😁
I didn't order the Maverick Lariat for it's truck or towing capability. I have a 2017 F-350 Lariat dually diesel for those. As I ordered the hybrid Maverick I don't need it's fuel mileage. I have a 2020 Escape hybrid Titanium that's averaging 41.7mpg for it's 30k miles.
So if it doesn't get...
I'm just wondering how Ford comes up with 80% of orders for the 2023s are new to Ford. Also coming from competitors. Last Toyota I had was back in 78
That sure isn't me with my order.
