I'm pretty sure I'll end up with drop-in, but want spray-in. Wondering if it's easily removable to drop on local marketplace and recoup a couple bucks towards a spray-in.

Anyone know?

Definitely teh plan. Good to know it's not "damaged if removable" or something...

Here's a video of the installation. There are bits of tape and a weather seal that are involved.

Good luck selling this dud. It really is unfortunate that the bed liner covers the panels and the 12v access ports on both sides. This is a deal-breaker. I'm going to rip it out and get it sprayed. The weather seal at the front top panel will be fun to remove.

I want to put some LED lights down the sides of the bed and that is a problem with the drop-in because of the two bumps at the top of the side panels.

For an XL owner even if it’s $100 someone will want it. And I really want the spray in.

Every one I have had was removable. As I remember they were heavy enough to stay in place w/o any anchors. Except for the tailgate.

You need to to remove the side panels and there are cutouts on the panel from penda you need to remove that match the 12V and the Bed Extender attach. It is in the bedliner manual. Factory should be doing this but guess not - will see when mine arrives.

All - go to this document and review the PDF. Will show you the cutouts for the panels, drains, how to install, specs and details. Video linked in this thread is a good overview. So yes, Penda has a DIBL that lets all the Maverick functionality work - IF Ford factory installs correctly. On this forum I have not heard of anyone getting the DIBL (yet) so time will tell. But less concerned as I can make it work by following the instructions and doing the cutouts if I need to…

FORD DIBL Manual

From manual ”
• If equipped with tie downs - Locate the hole centerpoint marks (1) on the back side of the sidewall liner and drill a small pilot hole. Using a step drill, enlarge the hole 28mm (or 1-1/8”).
• If equipped with a cargo management system - Locate the hole centerpoint marks (2) on the back side of the sidewall liner and drill a small pilot hole. Using a step drill, enlarge the hole to 32mm (or 1-1/4”).
• If equipped with a bed extender (3), eDIY switch (4), power to the box (5) on driver side or storage compartment (5) on passenger side, you will have to trim the sidewall liner following the scribe marks prior to installation”

there is an image down the page showing the 110, Bed extender and 12V cutouts

So here’s the back side of a side dibl panel before install, the side cubby other access panels on my lariat are not pre cut out but the dibl does have trace marks where to cut…I unboxed this kit today and the bed part of the liner was nicely U shaped from travel in the box…I just laid it out in the sun for :30 and it’s nice and flat.

And although already answered, everything is easily removable except for the piece that has the logos embedded in it which goes beneath the rear window. That has adhesive so you really wouldn't want to be taking it off and putting it back on. Every other part is removable without messing with that part though.
