Is anyone else surprised by how small the washer fluid reservoir is.

Uhoh, on second thought I hope you’re not trying to fill a coolant reservoir… the hybrid has 2 coolant reservoirs, one for the engine and the other for the high voltage battery… the washer reservoir is next to the headlight..

So not only are all of these clearly labeled I can look into the space and see that the tank is only about 2” deep and 12” long and 3 “ high. Does it wrap around the entire wheel well?. Not sure how one can get to the bottom of the tank unless from directly beneath the truck.

If you pull the wheel well liner back, you can see the tank and access the level sensor.

I put nearly a full gallon of washer fluid in my Lariat Hybrid the one time I've filled it.

The lariat must have a bigger resovior.

let me guess, the low fluid warning went off and it took 16oz to fill.
check the elec connection at the bottom of the bottle.

Sounds like a job for the dealer. Should be warranty issue. They do that with turn signal update and oil change and infotainment update etc.

that would be slightly better than putting antifreeze in the washer bottle

I topped up my windshield washer reservoir yesterday. The "low fluid" alert came on, and it only took about 1/3rd of a jug to refill it, maybe less!

It's a couple plastic clips you remove and pull back a liner to see if the sensor is at least plugged in and functional. Could save you a trip - or half a day (or more) without a vehicle depending on how busy they are.

good advice. That type of connector can look connected and not be fully seated. I suggest anyone going this far to first try to remove the plug, if it moves it wasn't fully seated. Reinstall the plug and press until it clicks.

A little dielectric grease never hurt either

It appears that the reservoir holds about 1 1/2 - 2 cups or 12 - 16 ounces. It is as small as the 1970’s era cars that used a soft bag like reservoir. There are plenty of places under the hood for a larger container on my hybrid. Disappointing. Glad I no longer live in snow country. Anyone else out there notice this?

I love my Maverick but, this could have better.

It holds a lot more than 16 ounces. If you filled the proper reservoir (blue cap) but your truck says it's low, your washer fluid sensor likely has a problem.

I put about a gallon in mine, last time I filled it.
