Is anyone else surprised by how small the washer fluid reservoir is.

It appears that the reservoir holds about 1 1/2 - 2 cups or 12 - 16 ounces. It is as small as the 1970’s era cars that used a soft bag like reservoir. There are plenty of places under the hood for a larger container on my hybrid. Disappointing. Glad I no longer live in snow country. Anyone else out there notice this?

I love my Maverick but, this could have better.

I've put over 1/2 a gallon in my '24 EB, does the Hybrid use a different reservoir?

Never added to it in the 18k miles I've driven. I guess they top it off at oil changes. Rain,snow,tractor trailer and log truck mist from passing or following. Maybe just don't hold on the switch for a long time.

From what I show in the parts catalog its the same reservoir for both HY & EB

I put close to 1/2 gallon when I refilled it. Lasted the entire time we had snow and a week of wet nasty roads. I find it sufficient. I didn't get caught with a dry reservoir.

I put nearly a full gallon of washer fluid in my Lariat Hybrid the one time I've filled it.

It's 1 gallon. It's not small. It's standard. It's just a crappy design that only allows you to fill 95% of it.

The Escapes have a 2.5L reservoir... that is small. And guess what, it has the same crappy design. So you only get 2/3rds of gallon in there.

let me guess, the low fluid warning went off and it took 16oz to fill.
check the elec connection at the bottom of the bottle.

Give it a thousand miles and the capacity will magically change… you just need to break it in..

Uhoh, on second thought I hope you’re not trying to fill a coolant reservoir… the hybrid has 2 coolant reservoirs, one for the engine and the other for the high voltage battery… the washer reservoir is next to the headlight..

Uhoh, on second thought I hope you’re not trying to fill a coolant reservoir… the hybrid has 2 coolant reservoirs, one for the engine and the other for the high voltage battery… the washer reservoir is next to the headlight..

That is what I was thinking…. Wrong reservoir!!!
