Installing Tow Package on 2024 Maverick Hybrid XLT after sales?

I found a used 2024 Maverick Hybrid XLT for sale but it does not have the tow package..
Can I add the tow package after the fact or can I add a tow ball underneath?
I am not sure how much the tow package price would be.

You can add an aftermarket hitch & wiring harness, which will be limited to the 2000# FWD Hybrid limit. Is that enough for you?

4k tow package is not available on hybrid 2024. Max tow is 2000lbs same as 2024 2.0 ecoboost FWD and tremor package all the above has 2000lb max towing capabilities.

There are several factors for that. 2025 Ford beefed up the eCVT it also offered AWD which is a requirement for 4k tow package. The tremor has a different RDU, a lift package and because of the front redesign limits cooling.

You are sadly mistaken. Unless you are describing a hitch and 4 pin wiring which is not the tow package and is only capable of towing 2000lb safely by Ford Motor Company.

"(2K) Towing Package" = $100 option: Hitch receiver + 4pin wiring

Not the same as 4K Tow package with cooling + brake controller +7pin + 4pin only on AWD Mavs.

It's not referred as towing package it is a hitch and 4 pin connector option. Again it is not a tow package.

Its more of a "recommendation".

On good pavement it can tow more than 2000lbs safely and effectively.

If you think you will, or will tow over 1500lbs frequently also add the 7-pin wire harness and a trailer brake controller. I did. And I love mine. Little truck does well. Just keep it 65 mph or slower when towing. And more like 50 mph in modest hills.

Third party equipment is out there and is your only option. In general dealers will not add third-party equipment.

Is that why semi trucks don't have FWD. Show me where Ford Motor Company offers 4k tow package on FWD not AWD? Show me documentation that Ford states FWD Maverick can tow 4k pounds safely and not void factory warranty.

You are spewing false information are you going to pick up the bill on hundreds if not thousands that reads your post? Not just warranty but those sued over safety violations if in an accident with a fatality or injury?
