If you just want to test a theory, install the bearings the correct orientation and disconnect the ABS sensor to see Christmas lights on the dash. Once you've seen it and get tired of it, plug the sensor back in and keep it moving. :)

Only once has my Maverick gone to sleep. It was after sitting for about 7 days straight while I vacationed. No start issues once i got back. I wired my amps (turn-on leads) to come on only while the vehicle is on (vs. ACC).
