If the battery is dead and the doors and windows are locked how do you unlock them. I am a new owner and don't see anything in the manual? Thx for your help.

I have a noco GB50 boost jump plug with all weather cover zip tied to my 4pin trailer plug. 8 gage wire 30 amp fuse at hybrid 12 volt pos post with body ground. Plug in my genius 5 there or at under hood jump posts. NOTE: I don't plug anything that draws current into it if truck is not in ready status.

The issue is if the doors are locked. If your child lock is set, and the doors are locked when you lose power, you cannot open that rear door from inside or out. Granted, It’s not going to be a common issue, but it’s one I never considered before.

I know the maverick has a little room inside , but reaching into the back seat from the front operable doors doesn’t seem to be a stretch . Maybe I have long arms though , my 80 lb golden retriever fits between the seats , I’m sure we could tech a kid to do it .

I did not try that because no has specifically said "unlock the manual switch on the door and then try it from the outside."

You didn't mislead; only asked the question incorrectly.

Well, we already touched on the topic of how you get in.

Here's two ways to get out.

1. Non-destructive method (no clean-up required and preferred): Did you notice, when you thoroughly read your user's manual, that mention was made of door lock/unlock levers, thoughtfully provided by the manufacturer, and are part of the interior door handles?
As @Carlitos_92 indicated early in this thread, they can be manually operated from inside the vehicle and not affected by battery state of charge.
Next time you're sitting in it, hit the lock and unlock buttons of the fob. Those things that move are the lock/unlock levers. Clever, huh?

2. Destructive method (clean-up required): Break a window.
