It's not Android itself that would stop me, but google's propensity to track you senseless.
I would want to see a serious audit showing that no data flows to google.
I'd have the same problem with a hypothetical Amazon system, let alone Adobe. (And this would be a good place to insert a joke about Microsoft and crashing!)
Whether it's benevolence, diabolically calculated marketing evil, or somewhere between, Apple has latched on to privacy as scaleable, and engineers to that marketing agenda.
All in all, though, I'd prefer neither apple or google in there. Provide basic display, and let customers bring their own phone. I find it highly improbable that Ford or Garmin will be able to keep up with either Android or iOS. [hmm would have to catch them first . . . ]
