This is my first and only venture into "social" media. I like cars/trucks and this just happened to appeal to me. I also needed more education about hybrids and this website has been very helpful!

I mean, I'm admittedly obsessed with my truck -- and being on here keeps me from constantly bothering every person I know in real life talking about it all the time.

I funnel that energy into both reading stuff and posting stuff here, and it prevents my wife from rolling her eyes at me.

Does anyone find they are posting/replying here a lot more than they normally participate in forums?

I feel like this is some weird form of therapy for me. The owner of a vaperware car with an unknown delivery date.

Thank you all for the comaradery and sparing my wife / marriage the stress of listening to me go on and on about my imaginary new truck. One day maybe my order will become a REAL truck !

14.5 months for me and when I got my maverick I was a pro when I stepped in and started to drive home. Helped me for sure
