Don't know if anyone else has done it yet, but I just sent a message to Lasfit asking if they were aware of the situation and working on a fix.

The whole point of expensive CANbus ready bulbs is so they work properly with the vehicle, so I hope they will have a fix.
Yep, just today I contacted Lasfit about the update performed Monday in my garage and watched the technician verify the update and watched the dash turn signal indicators hyperflash indicating an error. Hopefully they will address this issue

Ohhh okay, I have those front lights the 4257 T3, and after the recall I also have the same issue as everyone else.
My son and I both have the switch back LEDs up front. After he had the turn signal recall done, his dash hyper flashes, but not the actual signals. It is the rears that cause it, not the fronts. We replaced both left rear bulbs with the factory incandescent bulbs, and the hyper flash for the left went away, but not the right! Thanks once again FORD!

That is great to hear. Hopefully lasfit has better or will have upgraded bulbs for the rear. To solve what’s going on. I don’t wanna go back to the incandescent bulbs.

So my son and I both installed LASFIT LED bulb packages in our Mavericks, (his 2022 EB AWD XLT Lux, mine 2023 Hybrid XLT Lux). He had his serpentine belt replaced under warranty, and they did the Turn Signal update, now he has Hyper-Flash. Anyone else experience this?
Could be coincidental. My lasfit switchbacks failed after a year and a half. I wouldn’t have bought another set if anything comparable was under $100

Heard back from Lasfit today.

Thanks for reaching out to Lasfit.
Yes, we have heard this issue from other customers and we're working on a solution.
Good news so far. Hopefully an easy swap/fix that doesn't involve resistors and t-tap connectors on the factory wiring.

well to be fair, Ford didn't mess with the truck, they fixed the truck. They fixed a problem that failed to tell potentially thousands of drivers if they have burnt out bulbs.
Now that would be a real problem in the fog.
Actually, Ford delivered these trucks to the public that did not meet the NTSB requirements, so it absolutely is Fords fault. Perhaps lasfit would have designed a proper bulb if they had a proper working truck to begin with. This whole thing could have been avoided if Ford designed the truck properly from the begining.

Had my recall done yesterday. My Lasfits bulbs caused a dash Hyperflash just like everyone else. Also lost my global window opening and closing, which tells me they flash the entire BCM, not just the rear tail lights.

If you're going to live with the dash Hyperflash, you might as well just shut off the rear outage lamp indicator because you won't be able to tell if a bulb is out anyway. The Hyperflash is the indicator.

I already went back in with Forscan and shut it off. Rear turn signal and rear tail light outage indicator. Turned my global windows back on too.

When Lasfits makes a compatible bulb I'll turn the outage indicator back on. Until then, I'm back to old school and doing the eyeball test. Lucky LEDs are supposed to last

Sounds like a great temporary fix in Forscan. Can you detail how to do that or link to it?

If you are familiar with forscan, it's in the BCM module. Just disable rear tail light outage and rear turn signal outage indicator. It's pretty easy if you've used forscan before. If not, you should check YouTube. There are many tutorials. That's how I learned how to do it.

It seems a little scary at first, but it's easy. Just take your time, save your starting point, and follow the screen prompts.

Lasfit's bulbs are generic. They aren't engineered specifically for the Maverick.

Ohhh.. well... Excuse me!

I never said they were vehicle specific. They're designed to use as little power as possible without triggering the outage indicator. Because they get hotter the higher the consumption. If Lasfit had known the Maverick had different draw requirements, they could have recommended a different "generic" bulb, or made minor changes to this bulb and sold them vehicle specific. Or at least not labelled them compatible with the Maverick. Lasfit couldn't know because Ford released a faulty vehicle to the public and that's all they had to go on. Either way, the point stands. It's Fords fault.
