I can totally wait for the truck that I want, especially if I'm ordering it to my exact specs. People switching engines just to get the Maverick faster might regret it later.

It's just annoying seeing people reserve Ecoboosts in September and get scheduled a week later.

I feel like if you've waited this long already -June/July orders- and switch to Ecoboost, Ford's gonna immediately start scheduling hybrids w/ luxury packages, and then you'll have a new issue to gripe about on these forums.

Thanks clavicus. This has been my only way to see real progress. No emails from Ford, dealer says everything is fine. At times it feels like an old Twilight Zone episode.....

build date the 23rd but no email
I'm just hoping Monday I get the built email from FORD
Or at least on the track my build site.

I just had to buy another car, because I need a vehicle and can no longer wait. When I go to buy the truck, I am going to need to trade in the car towards it. It's more than a little frustrating that I put a $1000 downpayment on June 28th. This is my first experience with Ford and it's not a good one. The new Hyundai Santa Cruz is looking more and more like an option. . .

Be interested to see if December will be a big hybrid Month. I think Ford was building around 2000 Mavericks for November and planning 5000 for December.

Not trying to be mean or a wise ass, but tell me, did you honestly/seriously believe when you ordered on June 28 that you would have a new Maverick by the end of September?
I ask because I ordered June 14 and before I sold our second vehicle and ordered the Maverick, I discussed it with my wife and told her it might not arrive until the end of the year or possibly even later. Different expectations I guess.

At first it didn't look different then the first time I looked at it back in August but I looked at it again and realized it had changed and said it was going to build in the week of September 20th and it changed again Tuesday to the 23rd of September

You'll need your four digit order number and the VIN.

I actually contact Ford through the chat support feature on there website for the VIN. I've heard others call in.
