Confirmed order for a CGM XLT Hybrid on 7/15. No scheduled build date yet but likely looking at a fall build?

I have a Lariat First edition with a 6-8 order date and I have not received a build date yet. I was the first order at my dealership. I read on all the forums what everyone thinks is happening but for my 2 cents I believe it is the transmission factory that is holding up the Hybrids.
We do know that retail hybrids have been scheduled, and demo hybrids have been built, so we've just gotta have some faith.

Also, if we haven't already said it to you yet, welcome to the hybrid support group. Bring your favorite beverage, and join us here any evening.

I'm kicking myself for not ordering way back in June when I placed the initial reservation. At least I'd be further along in the process... ahhahahahaha... who am I kidding... :) My sales rep says he can't do anything about the priority being a 15 even though I hinted at there being a lower priority code, but it is what it is I guess.

I do have a question for y'all though, this may be the wrong place for it. Since I'm only getting the XL trim, will there be a way to eventually (hoping the after market segment comes through here) install the 110V in the bed after the fact or will that only come preinstalled? Not that this will change my order to an XLT, mind you.

It does seem random and mysterious. I'm thinking that this is Ford's 'round robin' approach of allocating 1 or 2 builds to every dealer in some complex algorithm that also takes into account their component availability projections. So you're seeing some late reservation dates from July and even one from August (!) getting scheduled, and I wonder if that was just one of the first few that a dealer was able to enter in the system... yet they may get at least some allocation like everyone else, as the 'round robin' keeps going around to each dealer in turn, so it got picked up.

See spreadsheet in my signature, Mr. Jack is entering stats, there are some hybrids.
Still waiting. Confirmation email. Nothing else yet

Why wouldn't a dealership put in the orders in at 10's? What do they have to lose or gain? from letting the orders default to a 19?
Two reasons:
1. They do that so they can put customers who have been long time multiple purchaseRV’s at the front.
2. If they put all their customers in at 19 or all there customers in at 10, the impact is the same. Ford will then pick from the dealer’s orders by the date and by what they are able to build. The priority number only determines when two customers from the same dealer, having the same build get scheduled. The priority code means nothing as far as when one dealers cars get scheduled over another dealers.

It is starting to look like Ford was not at all prepared to build the hybrids, but offered it anyway. [sad cthulu noises]
35% of all builds are hybrid

Hi everyone - I have an XLT Lux Hybrid order placed on 6/17. Called dealership to discuss changing order especially in light of constraints as I do need a vehicle by November. They checked into it and said I am currently priority 2 and changes not possible with this order. Hoping for a build scheduling email relatively soon..
