Hi, um... My name is Kristi and I ordered a Velocity Blue Maverick XLT Hybrid with Co-Pilot 360 and the Luxury Package.

I ordered and signed the initial paperwork on 10/23. I received the order confirmation email from Ford on 10/25. I forgot to get a copy of the paperwork that I signed, so I went by yesterday to the dealership to pick it up. Don't really need it, but like to have it just in case.

I got 2 pleasant surprises. The first was that the MSRP that I originally thought I would be paying ($27,305) actually went down to $26,660. They removed the Acquisition Fee of $645. The second surprise was a copy of the Preview Order, which showed Priority Code 10!

So now I feel a little better about the waiting process. I fully expect to not get my Maverick until May. Which would make it a nice birthday present for myself (which is late April).

Yeah, that acquisition fee is for a lease. It causes a lot of confusion. Yours may be the last XLT LUX with a spray-in bedliner! Best wishes for an early delivery. My hybrid is built and sitting and waiting for Ford to issue the ok to buy for hybrids.

I put in my order for an Area 51 XLT with Luxury package on 10/12, so now the waiting game.

I just looked at the ford website and it shows Hybrid as 'limited availability'

10/25 I ordered hybrid, XLT, Lux. I told sales person I wanted to order before hybrid cut off and she thought I was crazy. Said a few others called wanting to order before cut off but she said all rumors and not true. She also thought I would get truck in January. Lol. . .I said see you in June.

I was 5th hybrid order at dealer and a 6th was coming in that evening. I'm in Canada so will be interesting to see when it shows up.

Also I'm glad I ordered and got spray in bed liner from factory.

11/15/21 is said to be the drop dead date to order 2022 hybrids. After that it's supposed to go to summer 2022 to start orders for MY23.

For what it's worth my dealer said its possible some orders get pushed into 2023 models.

I figure that's just him being straightforward about it, they were very pessimistic about delivery date. Hard to parse information when you don't know how much is gospel and how much is intuition on their part. All that said I was a bit more familiar with the Maverick than the salesman or the manager, but I think they are just trying to manage expectations in the wake of the Bronco fiasco.

Has anyone who has ordered a hybrid received a build confirmation? Hopefully most of you all aren’t in my situation and are banking on this car to replace a car I recently totaled. We’re in this together!

I ordered my XLT hybrid with pilot 360, luxury package, and area 51 on 6/17. I received an order confirmation from Ford later that same day. On October 21st I received another email from Ford saying "there's already one with your name on it" and that it would be delivered next year. So I am along with everyone else still waiting on a Scheduled for Production email. I still feel like it is worth the wait.

Ordered XL hybrid 7/22, confirmed 7/23, decontented bed mat and "full" spare a few weeks later, not scheduled as of today 11/13. There's one with my name on it, generically worded, and the $50 FITS kit as well someday. Just laid out $1000 on car repairs yesterday. Time is money, it appears.

Possibly summer 2022, theres quite a backlog. And you’re gonna be at the back of the back of the line so it’s even possible that your order will become a 2023 model if supply chains worsen.

Yes today is the last day. Orders for 2023 models will open sometime in summer 2022.
