I don't understand your thinking.
So are you saying Ford doesn't know how many orders were placed or Ford does not know how many they can produce in a MY? your statement makes zero sense as Ford knows both of those.
P.S. I'm in the same boat here, I have another Mav Ordered for my mother-in-law...
First off, this came from a dealer, so take it for what it is worth.
My Dad fell in love with my Hybrid Maverick and ordered a Hybrid yesterday 9/20/2022. The dealer he Ordered from told him his chances of getting it this model year are almost zero. According to this guy, the area Ford Rep told...
Looks good, now buy some VHT spray tint and do two very lite coats on the tail lite lenses' and two medium coats on those front marker lites. Mine looks sooo much better after I tented the lenses'
The original oil is not Synthetic for a reason, if you switch to Synthetic to early (before the rings are fully seated) you could, end up with an engine that uses oil. I plan on doing a Oil Filter swap early and just top off the factory oil. I'll do a full oil change at 5K miles or so.
Truck arrived at the dealer last night. Picking it up today! For those of you that want a timeline:
Scheduled build week was 2/28, built 3/2, Shipped 3/3 (Train to Salt Lake city Utah, Ca Hauler from Salt Lake to Meridian Idaho) at dealer 3/15

Ask your dealer if a ROVP was completed on your order. If no ROVP was done you do not have a order that will be filled. Search ROVP for more info, but Ford has to have this to complete a Mav order.
Wait What? Do you know that if you changed from a Hybrid to a ECO it is like a completely new order and you go to the back of the order line? If you allowed the change, you most likely will not even get a MY 2022 now.
So lets break this down. This week Ford is Scheduling for May, so if you get a VIN in 2 weeks, your truck would be scheduled to be built end of May/June. Build takes 1-2 weeks, Delivery take 4-6 weeks. So if you get a VIN in two weeks your truck should arrive at the dealer in July.. as...

Thanks for the info. I can't get my boy to wear a seat belt so this will help when my truck comes in... before you seat belt nannies throw a fit, my Boy is a 65lb Eng. Bulldog
I ordered mine June 9th under the impression I would be driving it in the fall of 2021 (That was the Ford advertisement) I sold my Hybrid Corolla commuter in July thinking I could just drive my F150 till Fall..... Well here I am, driving my 11 mpg F150 still.... My advise, don't sell
