Yep. I'm sure it is obvious to you but I have no idea what that is. Does it replace the radio? Seems kinda big if you need the whole back seat so I'm confused. An SQ (Sound Quality) sound system?

That was not the whole back seat. It was in a VW Sportwagen so took up the floor area of the rear of the car. There was a panel that installed over the top so you never saw it and could use it for storage as normal.Yep. I'm sure it is obvious to you but I have no idea what that is. Does it replace the radio? Well I am definitely not a sound system fan. Would buy a car with no radio if that was an option.I don't expect everyone to appreciate good sound systems. Some people think the sound from a flat screen TV sounds good. It's like nails on a chalkboard to me.
Thank you. I really enjoy the build process. It allows me to be creative.Well I am definitely not a sound system fan. I just did not realize that over the top sound systems were a 'thing' . Thanks for showing what you do.
Nothing there about the low voltage battery. Just stay away from the high voltage systems.Considering Ford publishes a modifiers guide... https://www.fleet.ford.com/content/...3_Maverick_Hybrid_Modifier_Guide_10-25-22.pdf
They expect it to be modified, as long as it is done properly.
Thanks! I figured it would be a non-issue. Funny all the responses though. It was almost like "wind 'em up and watch 'em go".Nothing there about the low voltage battery. Just stay away from the high voltage systems.
The 12V battery isn't lithium, it's a regular lead-acid. And the cab isn't heated 24/7 so that's kinda moot, too.Thoughts.
- A lithium battery can catch fire and burn very rapidly if ruptured. I'm assuming Ford put it where it is because that is the safest position in an accident from any direction. Remember when Chevy trucks had issues with the side gas tanks rupturing in an accident? Remember the Ford Pinto issues?
- The battery capacity is weakened in cold. In the cab is the only heated area. Of course that's not an issue if it doesn't get cold where you are.
Lithium battery is located under the truck. 12V battery is under the rear seat.Thoughts.

Specifically, the Lithium-ion HVB is in the floor between the front passenger and rear seats.Lithium battery is located under the truck. 12V battery is under the rear seat.
