Does anyone know what will soften it or remove it.. They spayed the holes in the bed got to tap them out but liner is to hard

Harder than your taps? I guess I would treat it the same as if a bolt got broke off in there. Drill it out carefully with a drill bit smaller than the threads then use a tap to clear the threads. I would take it the dealer then and see if they can correct it. Should be simple a specially if they have their own body shop.Ford factory liner
