My understanding as well, remember dealer holdback is 4%, generally dealers make 6% on new vehicles. That is why they want your trade in typically 10% on trade + and why they push extended warranty 50%+ margin.

Dealer invoice is what dealer pays Ford or dealer cost, but there are other factors on final dealer cost. Holdback was years ago 4% that only goes to ordering dealer and at end of year.
