How do I know if my maverick has a rain sensor?

Looking at the other instructions for the ranger it seems that they made a mistake and assumed the Maverick had a rain sensor.

It plugs into the OBD port (at your left knee under the dash of the Maverick) and the dash cam plugs into the USB plug on the adapter.

My dash cam was placed just behind the rear view mirror, in fact I am currently in my truck on I70 driving to Kansas as we "speak".

I just installed a Viofo A119M Pro bundle and it was very easy to install. I hardwired mine to the fuse panel and after watching several videos and reading info found on this forum. I am very happy with the video quality and the looks of it mounted. I did not elect to use the static film. I also used fuse 1&2 for the ACC and fuse 24 for the battery using the HK6 wire kit. (note) the kit does NOT include a micro 3 fuse tap, which is needed for the 1&2 fuse. The only panel I had to pull out was the passenger A pillar, BUT just at the top....just enough so you can slip the wire in behind the airbag. Of course you need to remove the fuse panel, which is nothing. The hardest part for me was hooking in the fuse taps as 70 yr old necks don't bend like they use to.

This is why it must be hard to be a car manufacturer: I had that on my '22 Escape Titanium, loved it, and miss it on my Mav!!
Different strokes for different folks....

Do the wipers activate? You have a rain sensor.
Do the wipers not activate? You do not have a rain sensor.

You have a Ford Maverick. You do not have a rain sensor.

Wait....you're missing something! You have eyes and a right hand, right? Then yes...you do have a rain sensor. You just need to tell Brain when to coordinate and activate!

There is a camera up there. That's a different component from a rain sensor. The front camera is connected to the IPMA (image processing module A)
