Iām embarrassed I know where Manteca is...How about 55K for a used Lariat hybrid? Anyone, anyone.![]()
This is insane. $55K for a used Mav (albeit lightly used). With our tax that will put it well over $60K! It doesnāt even include a moonroof or tonneau. You could order a new 2024, add on a Tremor package, add on a tonneau, add on a moonroof and still come in well under that.Iām embarrassed I know where Manteca is...![]()
People, I don't think so. Dealers, yes.Are people just losing their minds?

I know Iām talking Canadian dollars here but thatās still crazy. Are people just losing their minds?

considering that you can get all of that plus much more and have it on a newer year for less and get it new rather than āusedā, then yes, its high.1 CAD equals 0.73 USD
So $54,888 CAD is $40,068.24 US dollars
That is a little high but not unreasonable for a 2023 Maverick Lariat with LUX and 4K Tow packages
Carvana paid me $31,404 for my 2022 Maverick XLT Hybrid with 9,269 miles on it and resold it for $32,990
And WAIT WAIT WAITconsidering that you can get all of that plus much more and have it on a newer year for less and get it new rather than āusedā, then yes, its high.
In the Toronto area there are plenty of options for used Mavs with the same package for thousands less than this oneAnd WAIT WAIT WAIT
There is a market for those who can't WAIT
and the costs are higher than ordering and waiting
Why are you changing the narrative? In the Toronto area there are plenty of options for used Mavs with the same package for thousands less than this one

Ha āchanging the narrativeā, what are are we in court here Counsellor? Ok then, may I direct the jurors to review my prior statements? Why are you changing the narrative?
You stated NEW and now you are changing to USED Mavericks.
Some good points there. This makes sense if they donāt want people wasting their time kicking tires and burning mileage unnecessarily when theyāre going to sell it anyways. From the sounds of it thereās a waiting list so why even bother posting it in the first place? Maybe to drive up the perceived price for future buyers? This thread is OLD!!!
Dealer later told me he didn't want to give test rides and spend a lot of time with people not serious in buying. They were rare, and there was a lot of interest. They'd put hundreds of miles of test drives on it; then couldn't sell it as new.
