Have you seen a Maverick in person?

Dealer trainers and auto show examples have been making the rounds around the country the past few months along with the occasional spotting driving on the road. Have you had the chance to see a Maverick in person for yourself?

Yep, saw a couple at the Chicago Auto Show. Sat in the Lariat…and ultimately the Lariat is what we ordered.

No, but not from lack of desire. I'm going to try to see one at the Texas state fair this weekend though.

Just yesterday. It helped crystallize my decision. I’d had a wandering eye, looking at plan b options based on the wait. But after seeing it in the flesh, sitting in it, hearing the stereo, seeing the overall build quality, there is no other option for me.

I saw one (A51) on my trip through SC and later I drove 30 minutes to see and sit in one in NC. both were XLTs and I would have bought one except the salesman told me one was bought at auction and had 1000 miles and the other was a trade-in with 1000 miles. Their prices were $35,000 and $37,000! I looked him in the eye and said “you’re not trying to tell me these are the MSRP are you?” He laughed and said no. One was SB and the other was A51. Even though I wasn’t able to drive one I was happy with the interior and very impressed with the quality of the cloth seats!

I saw one on a dealer lot in late December, the dealership was closed.

I drove 75 miles on January 7 to the Virginia Beach auto show, where I paid $18 to see a new Maverick. It was locked. I asked the Ford rep if they would unlock it, so I close see if I could fit in the interior. She said no, it was a preproduction model so Ford didn't want anyone to sit in it. ???

A week later, my wife spotted a Maverick at our local extremely rural Ford dealer, where we had placed our order. The dealer let us take a test drive, it was an XL Ecoboost. Easy to get in and out of. I was very impressed. We will probably get another one as a farm work truck, some day. I have noticed that you can get two Mavericks for the price of a new F150.

I've seen 3 different Mavericks at dealerships, and 3 different ones on the street.

Of course! It's in the garage! haha Seriously though the only other time I had seen one in person was back in November when our dealer had a training unit.

Finally saw one at a dealer I drive by a couple of days ago. Ecoboost XLT in Chili Pepper Red, Foose wheels, AWD, but I don't think it had 4k (looked like only 4 pin connector). It was also used with 900 miles. I think they were asking 8k over MSRP.

I have seen one in addition to mine; it was sold by the same dealer in Erie, PA. I believe that the same dealer has sold two or three others that are now also out there. Mine is the only hybrid that I know of that has been delivered in northwest Pennsylvania.

I have seen 6 and I live out…Calvert city KY. Got to see the school bus yellow at my dealer the other day, I really liked it!
