I had a 23 Atlas Blue XLT FX4 4k tow, then upgraded to a 24 Silver Lariat Tremor. I just put in an order for a 25 Green XLT 4k tow. I personally prefer the cloth seats and missed having 4k tow. I will miss some of the lariat features, but I haven't found anything to be worth the price increase. Plus I love the green!! It really comes down to what features you feel you gotta have.

The only reason I did not buy a Lariat was the pleather fake leather seats.
I never tried them, but I can only imagine. I'm with you, "swamp ass" sucks!

When it's 112° out here, getting in my 350 which has black leather vented seats still sucks.
With my Maverick I didn't buy what I needed.
I bought what I wanted. I love the freedom of choice.
My wife has NEVER said anything about my choice of vehicle's. She is also free to choose what she wants to buy and drive.

Nope. I come from a 2008 world. Anything above AC, cruise, power windows and tow package was an upgrade. I ordered what I could afford with what I thought I needed.

Being the middle child in the Maverick family, has anyone regretted getting one ?

It's not as cool as the first born, and forgotten after the third one pops out. Not great at anything 😕

What your story ?
I would have rather bought a BMW but the XLT will have to do.

Xlt was a perfect fit. Xl didn't have the lux package and lariat was too pricey. No need for tremor or lobo either.

Love my XLT. Was very happen to have cloth seats. Power driver's seat. Heated steering wheel and front seats. Sunroof. Painted side mirrors, Trailer hitch, power outlet in the truck bed with LED light.

Love the XLT I own, it has all of the features I need and none of the ones I don’t need. Right in the middle. Perfect.

I recently got my XLT used with low mileage. I only looked at XLTs...they have a great amount of features - practically everything I could want. Even if it didn't, the others were not an option for me because lets face it -- the steelies on the XLs are hideous and not only are (p)leather seats miserable, the brown is an atrocious color!

If I had bought an XLT, I believe I would have come to regret it. The difference between an XLT optioned as I would have and an Lariat, was under $2k when I bought mine, but I see now that it is a little under $3k with today’s pricing 🤨
The features of the Lariat that I use every day are Adaptive Cruise, Lane Centering, 360 surround cameras, dual climate control and nicer sound system.
I do think that for the price they charge for the Lariat, it should also have ventilated seats, phone as a key, Blue Cruise, B-pillar keypad, memory seat/mirror positions auto dimming mirrors and homelink.

Mine is 2023 XLT Ecoboost AWD FX4, plus Lux package, Co-pilot 360 and a few other upgrades.

Almost 2 years. Enjoy it every day and no regrets.

2023 XLT FX4 with 4K tow. I wanted a truck with 4K tow to pull my car on a trailer. I prefer cruise control and heated mirrors. That is about all I needed. I was lucky enough to find an FX4 the day it arrived. Came with a heated steering wheel which is real nice. Has a key and not that crappy push button start, so the fob is a little bigger and I do not misplace it. I realized the FX4 has panels underneath to protect the underbody and it came with nice rims and better wheels. All these things that I am happy I received. An XL just would not do and a Lariat has a bunch of stuff I do not need, so why pay for it.

I went by the Lamborghini dealership, and they did not have a pickup there. They told me I could get the Urus and tow a little trailer. I said, "do you have it in white?" They said no...only purple, lime green, metallic orange and black. So bought a white XLT.... :p :p :p
