Hard Trifold Tonneau Covers that actually trifold in the $600 or less range?

Hello - the only options I am seeing for the hard trifold tonneau covers that actually flip up to the back of the window are in the $1k+ range. All the "budget" ones just seem to fold twice - with the last fold staying flat on the bed. Asking because I will be hauling a lot of bikes and need that last fold to flip up to the window (I don't care if it is blocked). TIA

In that price range I can only find the Tri-Panel Bi-Fold mis advertised as a tri-fold.
As you know, unless it's also hinged at the front by the window it's hard to get a trifold with only two actual hinges. There are some that still disagree with the logic.

You won't find one. In that price range you are looking at a tri-panel that has two panels that fold. When I bought my hard cover it was a little over $500 after a hefty discount. True tri-folding were closer to $900.

It looks like maybe they have come down a little since I looked a year or two ago.

I was originally looking for one before I bought my Maverick last March. As you said, all the tri-folds under $800-1000 do not fold all the way up. Most people have commented that it is easy to take off and not an issue, but I agree its annoying. I ended up giving in and getting a Pro X15 soft-roll up that I found a good deal on. Doesn't have the protection of a hard tri-fold, but I don't keep stuff back there often anyway so it's worked out.

There were a few people in here from Real Truck that offered discounts if you sent them a PM. Not sure if they are still on here or not but worth a shot. Still won't get it down to $500, but maybe closer to what you want.

Check with Panda Motorworks a sponsor here. I think they sell the Rough Country tri-fold for $700 and no shipping. That's $50 less than anywhere else and less than I paid from Amazon last month. I have one and it's a nice cover.

You can sit on these. It's amazing how often I put stuff on top of this. I also got the one coated with bed liner. Looks just like the factory spray-in bed liner.
No fade or discoloring in 2 years.

Yeah, I love mine. I’m just upgrading to a GoFaster Camper. I’ve only had mine installed since July, but it’s been awesome for keeping my stuff covered in the meantime until GFC finishes my build.

Yeah, I have a sneaking suspicion that you get what you pay for.

The trifolds sold south of the border are way overpriced. I used a Bison flip-up hard trifold that was installed at their Toronto shop for CDN$575 all-in, or about US$430 including taxes. It only takes about 2" of bed space when flipped up. I also had one on my last Ranger and it worked well for its entire life.
