A friend of mine ordered the OBD adapter for ford vehicles, paid the one day license, and programmed his easily. He returned the adapter to Amazon when he was finished.
Yeah, I saw that other companies offered similar stuff. The EcoFlow alternator charger offered up to 800W charging, so that sold me. It was also very much plug-and-play for me in terms of its dimensions and how it fit into my truck. Either way, it’s great having power on the go. And yes...
I chose EcoFlow specifically for its alternator charger system, which functions as an integrated DC-to-DC charger/inverter, allowing me to recharge my power station while driving.
I upgraded to the Delta 2 Max because it has two expansion ports for extra batteries. The Delta 3 Plus only has...
Update #4
Installed a Dometic 35L fridge and swapped my Delta 3 Plus for a Delta 2 Max for higher power capacity. Secured anchor points to the seat delete platform with cam straps and added a 6.75-inch support piece (cut from a 2x8) underneath the power station.
Installed a second...
Thanks! Main reason is The seat back acts as a noise dampener and also would be an extra thing I need to store in my house. Wouldn’t add that much room compared to the bench removal imo
Some updates to the Maverick build:
I partially removed the rear seats and replaced the bottom cushions with a 3/4” 2’x4’ plywood platform. I also added hinges to the platform so I could still access the storage underneath.
I ran an extension cable outlet from my EcoFlow to the truck bed cubby...
Awesome. Thank you! I have the Michelin A/T tires that come with the Lariat and some MaxTrax boards in my truck bed, so maybe I can put those to use as well. Your tremor looks great, might have to swap mine out for a tremor in a couple years. Maybe I’ll see you out there!
Also added this info to the original post so future mavs don't have to scroll through the post.
So far, I’ve added 5/16 thread eye bolts to the mounting points with adjustable bungee cords to hang a gym bag for easy access from the side panel. I also added a paper towel roll to the other side...
Busy over here too! But yeah, we should get a group of GFC Mavericks together and go primitive camping in the desert sometime. Also, yes, the Comma3x with BluePilot is a game changer. I drive to LA a lot, but also for road trips, it makes traffic a breeze.
Thanks! I think the black with the...
Picked up my GFC V2 Pro today in Vista, CA, where Basil’s Garage installed it. Major shoutout to these guys. After trying to figure out exactly what I wanted in terms of powering and wiring, they took a lot of the guesswork out of my hands and handled the cable routing for me. I also had them...
Yeah, I love mine. I’m just upgrading to a GoFaster Camper. I’ve only had mine installed since July, but it’s been awesome for keeping my stuff covered in the meantime until GFC finishes my build.
I ordered a set of tie downs from eBay that were supposed to replace the tie down we lost. These don’t fit… Did you managed to find an adequate replacement for yours?
I’m selling my Ultra Flex cover that I’ve had for about 1.5 weeks now. Basically brand new. Paid $1185 for it.
Doesn’t work for me how I wanted it to but maybe it will for someone else. I want to just sell it at this point buy a retractable one.
Comes with all original hardware.
I did that while on the support line with undercover today. No change. There is still about a quarter inch gap on both sides between the cover and my rails.
I appreciate the suggestion though.
