There’s a plastic stud with ball on top, a bolt with threaded stud, and a nut. Not sure what the part numbers are off the top of my head but search engine cover on this forum and you’ll find what you need.

This cover looks great compared to the other ones that I searched for as I was told to on this forum as mentioned in above posts. Wouldn’t mind having one of these! Looks like it should a stock piece
They can be found used- they were installed on hundreds of thousands of vehicles. I think I paid $75 shipped for mine and it's like new.
Just my fingers and an x-acto knife in the intricate areas. Once I was able to get under an edge it pretty much peeled off. A little heat probably would have helped but it came off. Yes, it was a PITA but no one has ever accused me of being patient.
With questionable sites, we go buy a gift card for a few bucks over the amount of the item. Use the gift card then put the balance of the card on Prime.
Great, I was wondering if the paint might be a flex seal or plasti-dip type product. Maybe they applied it for customs reasons? My latest tracking update reads "arrived at local airport" so hopefully I will have an update soon.
