Are these dealer updates covered under warranty or we are charged?
Recalls, Technical Service Bulletins(TSB), and Customer Satisfaction Programs(CSP)are all covered under warranty. Sometimes TSBs and CSPs have a time limit on them though.

Yes I had the latest update, for the emissions recall done this week. Made the brakes function much smoother over all. Feels a lot more like my last hybrid, rather than the roughness I've been fighting against for the last year. Rain tomorrow, so we'll see if the gabbiness is improved, but to be honest I never found rain vs dry weather any different.

The software updates are TSB updates and can only be done at a Ford Dealership.

Any of the TSB updates done have all modules updated to the latest versions and they fix a number of annoying issues for the 2022 Hybrid Maverick.

The WiFi update you mention is only for the Infotainment system.

There are a lot of posters here who complain about issues like "Grabby Brakes" or "Sudden Shudder" but refuse to take their Maverick in to the dealership to have the modules updated that fix these issues.

Hopefully the OP's message of:

will get them and others to take advantage of the updates fixing their issues.
Is the brake problem that has been mentioned a chattering feeling? Mine has developed this I am wondering if it’s what has been mentioned.

The grabby brake issue is not chattering. It's a jarring sudden stop while driving slow, typically in stop and go traffic, in parking lots and such - all under 10-15MPH, that occurs no matter how gentle you are with the peddle. Chattering is usually a sign that the rotors are warped or rusty.

I have a 2022 and it has the grabby / inconsistent low speed braking issues. It was "fixed" at a dealership, but then came back over time.

I really hope there is a permanent fix, because it's probably the one thing I dislike most about the truck so far.

Does anyone have a TSB number for this fix?

EDIT:

I think I may have found it. Looks like TSB# 23-2248.

The most recent update comes combined with the emissions recall, so it's not a TSB, it updates a bunch of modules, including the ABS module, as pointed out earlier in this thread.

Edit: Posted above, 23E09 emissions recall covers this as well I believe.
Had mine done and can tell a difference.

Do you know how to check what software version a Maverick is currently running? Or does that have to be checked by dealership as well?
Dealerships should be able to tell that as well. From my understanding, they just install the latest software update, which is good. I don't believe you have to sit there and download like 5 different software updates for the same thing to get "caught up".

I'm not super worried about getting the emissions recall done, from my understanding, it essentially just said at highway speeds, the maverick could increase its emissions output or something. That doesn't sound like an issue really, and our truck has spent 90% of its life driving at slower speeds. But I'm glad that addresses it as well.

Is this thread regarding TSB 23 2060 or something else? 23-2060 Ford Technical Service Bulletin (tsbsearch.com)

I have had 23E09 done a couple weeks ago. Is 2060 included or an additional action one needs to take. When I asked my service department about 23E09, they were clueless about what it covered, just what to do in order to implement. (6) 2023 Maverick Emissions Recall 23E09 (Air/Fuel Enrichment Calibration) - New Vehicle Delivery Hold | MaverickTruckClub - 2022+ Ford Maverick Pickup Forum, News, Owners, Discussions

From the Ford write-ups they seem like completely different issues, but who knows? There seems to be some discussion either way about this.
