I ordered using the same guide. Finding out I'm not getting a fullsize spare on the top trim with AWD feels like a slap in the face. Shameful behavior.

Looks like all Mavericks come with two different spare tires:

1. a space saver spare tire, donut, or temporary tire, size T155/70D17
2. If you purchase a hybrid or pay extra for a so called "Full Size Spare" surprise, the size is 215/60R17 . This is not the same as the OEM tire/rim on any Maverick.

This information is shown on the Placard located on the driver side door jam.

Please note, the factory spare does not have a Ford OEM TPMS factory sensor.

1200 miles in I got a screw which was too close to sidewall to repair. Put on the "full size" spare while waiting for the new tire to arrive (wanted the same OEM model). Here is a pic so people will know what you are getting with the "full- size" spare upgrade.

20% but I go 300k in all but 1 vehicle I have ever owned (poor cougar with the interceptor v8 lost it in a multi car collision on 75/85)

never had the warranty extended, but always paid for lifetime rotation before I got wise and bought a speed jack, impact wrench etc. the point of rotation is to rotate the tyres before significant wear occurs,

Discount rotates free every 4k miles if you buy tires from them. Downside is it usually takes 1-2 hours. Another plus is with their certificates if one tire has to be replaced you will get credit for unused treadwear on the other 3 so you wind up with a matched set.
