Back in “The Day” you could also get a fully loaded 69 Chev Camaro 302 Zapper, 4-speed Muncie for under 5 Grand, but….. times have changed. I expect more now from a truck that cost me $40,000 (CDN)! Am I wrong?
I hate to burst your bubble, but $5,000 in 1969 was the equivalent of $42,893.40 CAD today.

My driver’s door is wonky. Opens with a bit of a ”pop”, and sometimes you have to close it twice to get it to latch. After examining the rest of the body, I’ve decided that this thing wasn’t assembled to Rolls Royce fit and finish standards. Or Subaru fit and finish standards.
The pop on open and difficulty to close sound like the behind the rear seat vent may be stuck closed or have something blocking it, as that's why it's there...

I see you also have a 2024, maybe they had a mis-calibrated machine or something similar when doing a run of trucks. Mine was built October of 2024.
November 24 is my build date. Ill post up some pics later today. I just noticed this last week at the carwash.
maybe causing some additional wind noise as well.
After seeing your build dates, I had to check how mine looked as I have an in production date of 31 Oct 2023 on my '24 Lariat. I think it looks as good as any. Both sides seem the same. Maybe the QC was a little tighter on the Lariats?

I have a build date of 01-23 XLT and everything is fine. On a mass production line, Jose doesn't say to Miguel, Here's a Lariat let's do everything muy Bueno.🙄🙄
It could be the forming dies are starting to show their age and wear?
In reality that would be premature wear.
Door stamping dies should last 500,000 to several million hits.

Well Sir, I believe that Hose-A and Hose-B had a plan and executed it flawlessly. We were punished for buying the Peasant trims...

More then Happy to have the Peasant trim...
At least no one wants to take our heads off..
Oh Wait ! WE Did that to the Lariats... 🤪

I looked at my 2022 (October 31, 2022 build) peasant, I mean XL trim..
I do have a slight deflection on the Driver's side passenger door. The top back corner is not flush. It's only about half of the OP's.
Having some bodywork experience over the years, there usually us some wiggle room, in door mounting.
Mine appears to be a door that was bent on manufacturer. Being it's location.

Yeah looks very similar, definitely seems to have been a production line issue for awhile since ours were built a month apart.

I agree. Considering a trade in at this point. Offered 27,560. I paid 29000. They have a 2026 XL Hybrid with 3 miles on it for 30,500 OTD. Seems like a fair enough deal.
