It is not a joke…Lol I'm pretty sure this is a joke. It's because of the ridiculous hike in price over MSRP.
I ordered the hybrid, bedliner, moonroof, you know everything that will keep it from being built until 2023I mean to each their own I guess. I would rather get a Ridgeline/Ranger/Colorado/Tacoma for that money. Or wait 3-4 months for a 2.0 Maverick for $10k less.
Easy pass for meHard pass.

Don't count on the warranty. My wife has a 2015 Kia Soul (same company/warranty) and we have had to fight tooth-and-nail to cover her oil burning 2.0 GDI. The dealer wouldn't OK it (without a $500 "try and fix" first) and then sent me to Kia consumer affairs. A year and a half later (and a class action lawsuit covering the issue) it still hasn't been resolved. The warranty is only as good as the company behind it.Cons: Expensive, poor gas mileage, limited utility, and fugly.
Pros: Good warranty and fancy interior.
Analysis: Nope.

Who is with me???
Or wait 3-4 months for a Santa Cruz for $10K less... lol! There's no way this car buying craze bubble can last forever. We bought our Ram for around $10K off MSRP, so I'm sure those days will come back eventually. I'm hoping that by February hopefully supply chain issues are resolved, people will have blown all the money burning a hole in their pocket over Christmas and New Years, and dealerships will be more full again.I mean to each their own I guess. Gotcha - then it's just stupid - but to each their own lolIt is not a joke…
I posted earlier that there are dealerships in my area only asking for MSRP. So he is getting taken for a ride at that dealership. Would definitely shop around if looking at the Santa Cruz.Or wait 3-4 months for a Santa Cruz for $10K less... lol! There's no way this car buying craze bubble can last forever. I wish I had bought a used car I was looking at back when dealerships could hardly give them away. They were asking around $14K, but now the same ones are around $21K. I could have bought it, had my fun, and just resold it at a profit now.
