You know you're a crazy dude, right? I love it, hats off to you! Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
I sure would like to make the heads up display work! But that might be asking too much.
(y) now I just have to find an appropriate wheel!.
found controls only from a Titanium which got me wondering:
1 - if the paddle shifters would work with the rotary or
2 - if I could install the heads-up display into the gauge housing...
Heck of a great post! I looked into steering wheels a bit; there are several options for motor size, gas vs. hybrid. Which version did you get, or does it not really matter since you're changing the programming?
Those are NA yet for Maverick due to the really narrow bedrail slot, but in development. Goes on mine (https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/lomax-diamond-plate-hard-tri-fold-tonneau-cover-installed.7485/ as soon as they are available, if they make them short enough so they don't...
Apparently you take good care of your rigs. I've seen them trashed. But it was the heat of black I had to avoid (carrying instruments), and it's really dusty where I live (hence the color choice besides liking the minimal look - silver with black highlights for you Raiders fans).
I bought a base XL, only option was a receiver hitch, which is a bargain.
OEM mat was pretty thin IMO. I bought a Dee Zee DZ86973 Mat off Amazon for a Chevy full size and cut it down with a jigsaw, which left me with a piece big enough to cover the tailgate, which gets as beat up as the bed...
I don't know if we're supposed to be promoting certain dealer, but $850 at https://tonneaucovered.com/, including tailgate seal, no tax, free shipping.
Hey Bill, Great stuff! Clarification: This is the same part # listing for the Ford Ranger, correct? (that's what comes up on a quick search, with an -R at the end).
for trifold, the rack has to be vertical.
I went with a bombproof Lomax hard Diamond Plate trifold cover that will arrive Monday. My hybrid 2 weeks later, fingers crossed. Agricover, who builds Lomax, will have a simple and relatively inexpensive fixed height, bolt-on, sliding-on-rails...
Hey Bill, thanks for being upfront. You're going to get a ton of biz on this - I didn't care that much when buying the XL, as I liked everything else better about it, but I'll add this on just in case I go on a long haul. I looked on your website before and didn't see it. Please post the link...
Hey Bill - terrific!
Is that using a stalk you include with your kit? Would be nice to have it right on the face of the steering wheel if possible; have you tried or will you try the Ford (LB5Z9C888H) Cruise Switch?
