When I was having the battery issues the dealer told me forscan was for his use only and if I used it that may void the warranty. What are they afraid of?
They are afraid they will become less and less necessary as a service provider when more and more people find out they can make their own edits and changes to their Maverick.

So what would Forscan enable on a XL? Does anyone have a list? I am completely new to the Forscan conversation
No. Lots of hardware you’d be retrofitting not just Forscan software.
Thank you

As long as the truck has the pre-collision braking assist, it has the hardware required for lane keeping assist. Not lane centering, but better than nothing.

.. Pointed out that I had bought a license the day before, still waiting to see if they offer anything, of if i just have to wait for a new version..
I guess this means they worked out the payment issues they were having? I went to buy the paid version after my demo ran out, and they said they couldn't accept payment at the time...something with PayPal and Russia maybe.

But they were cool and let me grab another temporary license so I could do the changes I wanted. Not trying to jip them, I've got no problem with the little they charge for their software and service.

They do have a new payment processor. I think they said the cost went up a couple bucks due to the new processor charging a higher fee.

Those are strong feelings towards a safety feature 😁 You can turn if off with a push of a button, you know that, right?

Yes and I dont think thats strong I actually hate it much more. And its not a safety feature its a abomination. Im one that wants my "options" to be able to be turned on not on by default sorry.. same with start stop..these should come in "off" and you can push the button to turn on if wanted.

I dont even consider it a safety feature its more like a laziness feature.

To backup modules do you need the extended version? I have the trial but there is no button to save the current settings.
