Oh they all suck I just hate the deal that if you're going along in traffic and you're having a discussion, talking with friends/family, listening to music or a pod cast that inevitably im going 65-70.. you're paying attention to the road.. You set your cruise at 72 (in a 70)your going along and look down and you're all of a sudden stealthy like going 61 in a 70 because the 3 cars ahead of you are 82 year olds going to the state park at their leisure.

i almost always turn ACC OFF and if i had a choice id do away with it all together I far far far(with that repeating line over it as in the goes on forever point) seem to find myself going way too slow and dont even realize it.. I like the old kind wher when youre coming up on some traffic youre getting close enough you say.. hey these idiots are going 10 MPH under the limit and just go to passing lane.. not merge right in and then 10 miles down the road realize hey..im going 10 mph slow..HATE it..

There isnt a single person in the family that likes it... like auto start/stop I always want stuff like that to be on cars as a OPTION not the default... let me switch ACC or auto start stop on..IF I want..
You do know you can turn Adaptive cruise off and use regular cruise permanently?

Never been an issue for me. If I come up on traffic going slower, I move to the passing lane and go around them.
I tend to pay attention to the road and my speed.

Thats a Ford thing then(and is good) becasue the others ive used you can of course turn it off but every time you turn your car off it defaults back to ACC as stock and yes you can turn it off again.. I just dont want it.. im glad Ford seemingly gives you that option.. there is NO option for it to be off in Subarus or VW(Forester/Atlas) its the default setting that you can turn off and alwayus resets to ACC by default as soon as you turn off the engine.

And 40+ years of driving has me where im never going to remember... Ive had cars with auto start/stop that I can turn off.. so far over the last 6 years of the Forester and now 1 month almost of Maverick.. I never remember to actually turn it off lol. same with ACC.. I get about 10 minutes in and do the old.. I gotta turn this off.. never when im sitting in the driveway.

My Lariat in Canada does not have the recirc button...
My US Lariat doesn't have recirculate.

Is this a trim thing?

Lariat - No recirculate
XL/T w/ Lux - Has recirculate?

What a weird decision ...

I am thinking that is what the case is...unfortunately (I ordered a Lariat). It seems the dual climate setting replaces the recirc button which comes with LARIAT and LOBO only. I am hoping it can be swapped in Forscan, since it is just a software function.

It's under the center button.

Cal,
Sorry, I was not clear. This is what I meant by turning off the Adaptive feature.
To turn off the gap settings on a 2025 Ford Maverick's adaptive cruise control, you would typically use the up and down arrows on the steering wheel cruise control switch, repeatedly pressing the button until the gap setting reaches "0" or is completely deactivated, effectively turning off the adaptive distance feature and reverting to a standard cruise control mode; consult your vehicle's manual for specific instructions.
2.3.65 release, 2025-02-25 (download)

I haven’t had a chance to try it but, the latest full release is out and it specifically says 2025 Maverick in the release notes.

Email that to [email protected] and they may be able to fix it in the next official release. Or........ they may fix it immediately and send you a "beta" version to test. I had the exact same "interrupted" error in January when using a beta version and they were like "Ok, we fixed it, here is a new beta version, it should work". And it did.

Fair enough. Thought he was confused with lane assist and lane centering.
Not confused. My '23 XLT has lane centering as well as adaptive cruise. It does not have CP360, but I also have lane keep assist which is terrible and almost pointless.

XL and XLT have a dedicated button next to max defrost on the bottom.
Can you disable seatbelt alerts period? Small short drives I prefer no seatbelt, also no icon on dash if so
