As long as the truck has the pre-collision braking assist, it has the hardware required for lane keeping assist. Not lane centering, but better than nothing.

Forscan won't void the warranty. That said, use it smartly, and back up your ASBUILT files prior to making any changes.

LKA is easy via software only (did it on my 23 XLT), adaptive cruise requires extra hardware and probably a wiring harness.

I'm doing something similar to the carpet on my Maverick, except I'm using astroturf for it. Makes sliding stuff in and out super easy.

Also just depends on the area. Living out in England I was catching rocks left and right from the farm traffic, including a nice bullseye to the windshield that I was able to get repaired. Think I took more rocks from oncoming traffic than same direction.

So another thing to consider, the AS BUILT file is also being updated with these recalls. I've found some differences in mine when I compare older downloads to newer ones.

I don't like this new update. I can't even connect to my truck over here, so because of that the app is effectively useless for me now.
