It's a US-spec purchased through Military Auto Sales. So LH drive, interesting on UK roads, but not unheard of. I moved back to the US a year and and half ago and brought the truck back with me.
So what I've found with my '23 is that repeated short trips (<5 miles) will kill the gas mileage. I thought I was going to see my MPG jump living just 3 miles from work with max speed of 30 mph, but the reality is the ICE needs to kick on a lot more often to boost the hybrid battery (averaging...
Since I needed to poke at the truck with Forscan yesterday to see why I had a check engine light after the screen recall was done, I took a look in the BCM and noticed that the battery was configured as an AGM with 80% target charge. Looking under the seat, I see that the battery is the OEM...
Holy cow there is a mountain of information in here. I'm using an app on my phone called Car Scanner and an iCar Pro Bluetooth OBDII reader, what should I be looking for to pull up the 12v battery info? I'm assuming "[BCM] Vehicle Battery Voltage" or "[BCM] Vehicle Battery B Voltage", but both...
As long as the truck has the pre-collision braking assist, it has the hardware required for lane keeping assist. Not lane centering, but better than nothing.
I picked up the Tyger Auto T1 soft cover for my truck. Relatively cheap, decent quality, easy install. I'm happy with it. So far haven't had any issues with leaks.

Also just depends on the area. Living out in England I was catching rocks left and right from the farm traffic, including a nice bullseye to the windshield that I was able to get repaired. Think I took more rocks from oncoming traffic than same direction.
19k on mine, barely/don't even notice when it swaps from electric to gas. If I'm watching for the swap I'll notice that subtle shudder from the engine, but most of the time I'll glance at the dash and it'll be like "Oh I'm doing 60mph on electric. Sweet."
What I do notice is that the regen...
I'm trying to find a complete diagram of the tail lamp assemblies, not just wire colors but also to physical locations. I'm trying to undo damage done by the shop when they did the light conversion on my truck and it's going to require replacement of some of the wires in the light assembly...
Phone was sitting in the cubby, hit a rough patch of pavement and that was enough to shake it loose. Onto the dial it went and I went from coasting into a traffic circle to "why am I not accelerating right now?"
We've got a SportTrac at work and I liked driving around in it. Almost to the point where I wouldn't mind having one, but I like how much more open the cab on the Maverick is.
There was a recall pushed out for this issue, so if you contact them ahead of time about it they should be able to complete the recall within a couple of hours.
Recall is Campaign/NHTSA# 24S33/24V330
I'm not loving what's going on with that front bumper coming up so high, and the whole 2-tone thing, but maybe that's just some weirdness from the testing. That said, I might be interested in trading up my Hybrid because Hybrid AWD is very appealing.
So another thing to consider, the AS BUILT file is also being updated with these recalls. I've found some differences in mine when I compare older downloads to newer ones.
